Mike Winter
President/CEO
Technical Sales and Services
Our President, Mike Winter, grew up in the company, where his dad, Adolph Winter was co-owner with Olof Sedwall. After obtaining an MS in Education and teaching for seven years, he returned to Sedwall in 1986, and began his journey to take up the baton and run the family business. In 1988, Mike took over daily operations and has instituted many improvements over the years to make Sedwall the successful company that it is today, not the least of which is moving the entire company from Chicago to a purpose-built building in St. Charles, IL in 1997. With the vision and the space to grow, he has reinvested the company’s earnings into high quality state of the art machinery and, most importantly, well trained expert machinists and tool and die makers, who can be counted on to provide the best tooling in the industry.

Karl Winter
Technical Sales
Karl attended Illinois Wesleyan University majoring in Math and minoring in Art. With the mind of a mathematician and the heart of an artist, he took well to the precision tooling manufacturing field, understanding the patience, skill and pride that goes into each tool we manufacture. Karl spent over five years on the shop floor learning several of the machines we utilize and has transferred that knowledge into his current position in Technical Sales.
